The meat used in our natural beef jerky comes from 2 small ranches located within 5 km of our home in Prince George, BC. We've always been very impressed with how happy & healthy the free-range cows appear as they graze in the grassy fields & lie in the shade of trees on the hillside. Although these meats are not officially organic, they make our natural pet treats as organic as organic pet treats could be. The owners of the each of the ranches are very nice people & good neighbours too.

The meat used in our natural bison jerky is certified organic & comes from a lovely ranch close to home. It is a huge beautiful property where the buffalo literally roam - just like the song. Here, also, the animals are happy & healthy & treated very well. And the owners of the ranch are very nice people.

The biological value of a food is how easily the nutrients are digested & utilized. The high biological value of the meat proteins used in our jerky make the nutrients highly digestible & easily assimilated. Now, if your pet has allergies to common meat proteins such as beef, chicken or lamb, we offer our kangaroo, elk, camel & venison jerky as a hypoallergenic pet treat option. Because dogs & cats are not as likely to have been exposed to kangaroo, elk, camel & venison in their lives, they have not developed intolerances to them. Our jerky is a treat compatible for those pets on a raw food diet & others needing higher protein content.

All of our jerky is easily broken into small pieces, perfect for overweight pets & for use as training treats. Dogs cannot tell the difference between a large treat & a small treat, but they certainly recognize great taste! These all-natural pet treats are a favourite of picky eaters. Dogs that won't eat any sort of treat seem to love the jerky! For dogs (& cats) with small or poor or no teeth at all seeking a healthy pet treat do well with our beef & bison jerky. The meat is well-marbled so the final jerky is easily crunched between your fingers.
